  26. YEAH ! Here is it! The best Hydracom for the Amiga. Why using this
  27. one instead of the others ?

  30. - Uses MUI : X-fer Window instead of the Text-Only original
  31. - Some optimizations done : faster & shorter
  32. - Opens the serial-device in SHARED-Mode : Every good Terminal
  33.    should run with it!

  36. - Any Escom/C= Amiga :))
  37. - MUI 2.0 or higher
  38. - A Modem with fullduplex (read 'hydracom.doc' for "halfduplex")
  39. - Kickstart 37.175 and Workbench 38.xx or higher

  43. - Transfers in both directions with maximum speed ( I got 3550 CPS with my
  44.   USR V.34 in BOTH Up- and Downloading)
  45. - You can chat while Up- and Downloading!
  46. - You can add Files to the Upload-Queue WHILE (!) Uploading

  48. U wanna use it?? Just as simple:

  50. TERM 4.0: VERY SIMPLE! Just start Hydracom when U want to Transfer!
  51.           Hydracom opens its windows on the Term-Screen and takes
  52.           control over the serial-device!
  53.           The Files in the Upload-List will be moved to Hydracom
  54.           when starting Hydra. Look into the Term-Dok! There's
  55.           a very good example of using Hydra in Term.

  57. Terminus: I added a little Script by D-SIYA/THE VIKINGS '94 to
  58.           this archive. Just make a Macro on any Hotkey you like
  59.           and insert this: !&HYDRA.SCP
  60.           Now when you want to Transfer just press the Hotkey!

  62. NCOMM:    There's a script for NComm in the 'Scripts' Directory.
  63.           Just define a Macro with:
  64.           {script}Work:dfue/NCOMM/Scripts/Hydra.script
  65.           Press the Hotkey, when you want to transfer.

  67. My favourite Terminal (DreamTerm) still can't open the serial-device
  68. in SHARED-Mode...shit! If anyone found a solution, please tell me!
  69. Or tell the author to fix it (I'm lazy).

  71. I've not tested this version with other Terminals, but if you find a
  72. way to use it with others (XCOMM, JPTC...) please contact me.

  76. upload <path>           - You can define a path to be used in the File-Requester
  77. pubscreen <ScreenName>  - The Hydracom-Windows will be opened on <ScreenName>
  78. nologwin                - The LogWindow will not be opened (who needs it?)
  79. noxwin                  - The Xfer Window will not be opened
  80. size x/y/w/h            - Defines the coordinates to be used by the windows
  81.                           (except the Xfer-Window, but it's MUI!)
  82.                           x - X-position on the Screen
  83.                           y - Y-position on the Screen
  84.                           w - The width of the Windows
  85.                           h - The height of the Windows
